Recently, I created the concept behind these monthly brand promotional videos for PledgeMusic. Each month, I manage the production process (sourcing media, sequencing, etc.) and oversee the editing process. After the first two Monthly Mixes were released (May and June 2016), the content resulted in some of the platform’s highest engagement numbers to date on social media.
I worked with Cheap Trick and Big Machine Label Group on the pre-order for their new album, ‘Bang, Zoom, Crazy…Hello’. I helped brainstorm, coordinate and strategize roll out of exclusive bonus video content (and the promo video seen on this page). I also created all copy, managed messaging to Cheap Trick fans through the campaign/on social media and created all product design images for the band's pre-order store.
I’ve been working directly with Gary Numan on his year-long pre-order campaign for his new album. Before launching the campaign, I helped to brainstorm, layout a content strategy and roughly script out the pre-order video for his upcoming new album. I’ve also presented Gary with some options for types exclusive video bonus content, which could be made available to fans who pre-order. This inspired Gary, who began offering fans a direct look into his creative process. The campaign now includes a vlog from his home studio, giving superfans first listens to the new music as he’s writing it as well as an exclusive look into the process.
I have worked with the band and management to brainstorm, script and coordinate shoots for exclusive video content available exclusive in their new album pre-order campaign. I’ve also created all product images for the band’s pre-order store, managed messaging to fans through the campaign and advised around best practices on social media.
As part of the band's '13 VOICES' pre-order campaign, our goal was to present fans with amazing behind-the-scenes content. Early on, I created rough storyboards/scripts with content ideas, which were presented to Deryck and the band’s management. Once approved, I worked directly with the band’s socials and media team to coordinate/execute shoots and create all video content. I’ve also managed all copy and messaging in and around the band's pre-order campaign. As a result of this campaign, Sum 41 is in the midst of signing their first record deal in over 5 years.
Along with running the band's most recent album pre-order, I also supervised all of the content needs for the campaign. After brainstorming and presenting a content strategy, I was able to secure two full days with the band and coordinated a shoot with a freelance videographer. I supplied him with a full list of content needs for the campaign (Script, Q&A questions, etc.) which he then filmed over 2 days with the band in the Bay Area. I edited the resulting media into the ‘Imani Vol. 1’ pre-order video and interview-style behind-the-scenes content. My other responsibilities also included managing all copy in and around the pre-order campaign as well as messaging with fans through social media.
I've worked directly with Tal and her team to manage all aspects of her new album pre-order campaign. I brainstormed and presented concepts for the video content in this campaign and then managed the production, delivery and release. With Tal being a very busy working side-musician (The Who, Jeff Beck, etc.), it was important to make sure that the content continues to highlight her as a solo musician and singer/songwriter as well.
As part of the band's 'Change of Fortune' album pre-order campaign, I worked directly with Dave Pirner and team to create a content experience for all the Soul Asylum super fans. I brainstormed, created rough scripts and laid out concepts for exclusive bonus content. I then coordinated video shoots with freelance videographers and edited the resulting media into campaign Updates which were released weekly. As a result of this campaign, Soul Asylum signed a record deal with Entertainment One.

I created the concept and approach for the band’s pre-order video announcement. After presenting to the band’s management, I coordinated a day shoot with a freelance videographer and supplied them with a rough script/in-depth Q&A copy. I then edited the resulting media into the band’s ‘All Your Favorite Bands’ pre-order video and “Behind the Song” bonus content video series.
I was able to work with Deer Tick directly on the concept for this video, which was used as the pre-sale announcement for their 2015 Newport Folk Festival afterparties. I coordinated and managed the delivery of all assets, and then edited the resulting media into this video - which also includes baseball bloopers.
A Boston hometown music hero! I worked with a freelance videographer to brainstorm, coordinate and shoot this promo / music video for Dennis' 'Life, Love, Loss & Redemption' pre-order campaign.
Along with producing audio, live to 2" tape portion of RLB's project, I was part of the planning an execution of the video component as well. Our goal was to create a non-invasive filming experience for the musicians, in order to keep the members of the band focused on recording 3 tracks 100% live to tape.
